Chabil Mar is a resort that is located along the Placencia Peninsula in the Stann Creek District of Belize. It opened its doors in 2005 and sits between a true Garifuna settlement and the former Creole fishing village of Placencia.
The resort won the Fodor's Choice award in 2014 as one of the best hotels in Southern Belize.
